Richard A. Aballay, MD ABHM

Dr. Aballay was born and raised in Bronx, NY. He received Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion from Brigham Young University and received medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.

He did his internship training in Family Medicine in Washington PA. He moved to West Virginia for one year where he operated a purely Integrative Medicine practice and served as co-director and President of the Board of Trustees for the Center for Holistic Health and Education.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine and member of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine. Dr. Aballay has been interested in integrative/functional/restorative medicine most of his life but for the past 2 years has been very active and concerned with the quality of health care provided to women.

He has been sought after for his work in hormone balancing from all over the United States. In addition to his medical work, he is currently working on a book and is a highly sought after motivational speaker and teacher.

Thomas Lokensgard DDS, NMD, ABAAHP

As a young boy, Thomas held an interest in the sciences. In grade school, he entered his school's science fair and came away with a blue ribbon for his project, "The Human Body". This passion lead him into a career in the field of science and medicine.

In the early 1990's Dr. Lokensgard began to see there was something missing in traditional medicine. He felt there was a connection between nutrition and wellness and began questioning the inherent logic of prescribing pharmaceuticals for every symptom that came along.

As he continued treating his patients and expanding his education it became increasingly clear there was a connection between nutrition and optimal health and that the missing piece of the medical puzzle was nutritionally-based yet medically-missing.

He began focusing on nutritional, pro-biotic, glyco-nutrient, enzyme and endocrine therapies. He joined the American Nutraceutical Association (ANA) in 2001. What he noticed was a body of new scientific information that completely supported this new rationale. When a Harvard Medical Study in 2000 connected silent inflammation to periodontitis and heart disease, the link was complete.

In 2003, with training in Botox and Dermal Fillers, he entered the field of cosmetic facial aesthetics and started Oro-Med Aesthetics. To further expand his career, in 2004, Dr. Lokensgard entered the NMD program at Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating with highest honors and a degree in Naturopathic Medicine (NMD). This program, available to practitioners with doctoral degrees, gave him the foundation for a nutritionally-based medical practice.

Dr. Thomas has 27 years of clinical experience and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and is pending board certification in Anti-Aging Medicine.

Thomas is a native of Bloomington, Minnesota and resides in Eagan, with his wife Jan.
